CLIMB THE TERRACES

Systems grown
on a terraced hillside.

IncaPotato is the studio face of INCA POTATO LLC, a Draper, Utah technology practice that cultivates enterprise systems, custom software architecture and cloud infrastructure for operators across the United States. We build like a hillside farmer plants: one terrace at a time, with walls that hold and channels that never flood. On this page you can walk the whole slope from the valley floor to the watch hut, meet the six field plots we keep, and read how every engagement climbs step by step.

The metaphor is not a decoration hung over ordinary work. A business terraces its own land the same way a farmer does: each capability must stand level enough to carry its own load, each boundary wall must keep one field from washing into its neighbour, and each irrigation channel must move data to the rows that need it without drowning the ones that do not. INCA POTATO LLC lays out that geometry for modern operators who would rather farm a calm slope than chase a flood.

One terrace at a time, from the valley floor up.

T2 CULTIVATED FIELDS

IncaPotato keeps six workable plots

The cultivated fields

Field 01

Enterprise Systems Integration

The retail shop accounts receivable ledger now flows into the same operating ledger as your warehouse picks and your dispatch notes. IncaPotato wires your core systems so a sale in one silo becomes truth everywhere, without duplicate keying or reconciliation races.

Field 02

Custom Software Architecture

Every farm lays out its own field system; no two operators share the same soil or the same sun. We architect tailored software around the real way your teams work, delivering modular terraces that can stand alone yet join cleanly with the wall line of the whole landscape.

Field 03

Cloud Infrastructure Design

Cloud is the hillside itself. We design infrastructure where every workload rests on a level it can trust, irrigation channels carry data runoff away from the row, and the retaining walls between environments hold firm under storm traffic. Predictable cost, predictable load, no washouts.

Field 04

Legacy System Modernisation

Old terraces kept feeding families long before new seed arrived; the same is true of your decades-old core. We replant rather than demolish, wrapping legacy logic behind fresh walls so continuity holds while capability climbs to modern ground.

Field 05

Data Pipeline Engineering

Water moves a terrace only when the channel is clean and graded. We build data pipelines that carry harvest numbers from field to storehouse with verified delivery, clear review, and streams that can be re-run without losing a single sack of true information.

Field 06

IT Service Management Platforms

The watch hut needs a roof, a floor and a clear view. We turn ITSM tooling into a true operating platform for service teams, with dependable service level tracking, tidy handover terraces, and a single accountable view across tickets, change and incident flow.

T3 STAIR CHANNEL

IncaPotato builds like the mountain teaches

Climbing terrace by terrace

An engagement at INCA POTATO LLC never jumps from the valley to the ridge in one leap. We climb the slope exactly the way a prudent farmer does, building each terrace to hold water and feed the one above it before a single seed goes into a higher row.

The first pass is always the survey. Our engineers walk the existing land: which systems already hold together, where the runoff collects, which walls are cracked and ready to slip. We map the whole field in plain language so every stake we plant later answers a real contour rather than a guess.

Only after the survey do we raise fresh walls. Each new terrace is built as a retaining edge that holds today load while it readies ground for tomorrow. We plant the work in small responsible rows, stand up one capability, witness it crop, then move up a level. Nothing is left standing on bare slope.

Finally we lay the irrigation channel so data and work flow between terraces with no flood surge and no dry gap. The water may move by API, it may move by message queue or shared ledger, but it always moves along a graded line we can watch from the hut at the top. When one season closes we review the whole hillside together, and that review feeds the next terrace we plant.
